INTENDED USE


The BTA stat test is an in vitro immunoassay intended for the qualitative detection of bladder tumor antigen in the urine of persons diagnosed with bladder cancer. This test is indicated for the use as an aid in the management of bladder cancer patients in conjunction with cytology. 

 

 

 

  • A 5-minute result from 3 drops of voided urine

  • Objective results - a line in the patient window is a positive result, no line is a negative result.

  • Requires only one voided urine sample with no sample preparation

  • First tumor marker cleared for prescription home use

  • First tumor marker granted CLIA Waived Status

  • Reimbursed in the majority of states
